Hydroquinone is the most important ingredient to avoid while pregnant. There is no Hydroquinone or ingredients which break down into Hydroquinone in the AnteAGE® and AnteAGE MD® product lines.

Salicylic Acid is an ingredient that some have raised concerns about, though there is no direct evidence of harm while pregnant or breastfeeding. Salicylic Acid is present in AnteAGE® & AnteAGE MD® Serum as part of a natural preservative system, in less that 0.01% concentration. When applied to skin at this level there is no measurable effect and is not absorbed systemically in levels that even conservative physicians would be concerned about.
